En marge de la 81e session de l’Assemblée générale des Nations Unies, S.E.M. Cheikh NIANG, Ministre de l’Intégration africaine, des Affaires étrangères et des Sénégalais de l’Extérieur, a reçu en audience, ce lundi 21 septembre 2026, le Dr Kevin Casas-Zamora, Secrétaire général de l’Institut international pour la démocratie et l’assistance électorale (International IDEA).

Les échanges ont porté sur le projet d’ouverture d’un bureau d’International IDEA à Dakar, afin notamment de renforcer la coopération avec le Sénégal et les pays de la région.

On the margins of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, H.E.M. Cheikh NIANG, Minister of African Integration, Foreign Affairs and Senegalese Abroad, received Dr. Kevin Casas-Zamora, Secretary-General of the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (International IDEA), in an audience this Monday, September 21, 2026.

The discussions focused on the proposed opening of an International IDEA office in Dakar, with the aim, in particular, of strengthening cooperation with Senegal and the countries of the region.
